Master in Project planning & Management – MPP
EU-SPS Master of Project Planning and Management (MPP) is designed to provide skills and further knowledge in Project Planning and Management.
MPP is a precursor to the development of projects and guarantees proficiency and hence industrial development.
MPP is compliantly tailored to allow learners to study while remaining in employment. It makes the course more reasonable(less costly) the skills learned can swiftly be applied in the working environment.
Objectives;-
- Enhance awareness for proper management of development projects.
- Train highly skilled manpower to plan and manage development projects.
- Enable students to acquire analytical tools, principles and concepts of project identification, appraisal, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
Course structure
- The course shall consist of coursework and project.
- The course shall consist of fourteen (14) taught course units, and a research project which shall constitute four (4) units. A student will have taken eighteen (18) units in total.
- The course shall run for a minimum of four semesters and maximum of twelve semesters of fifteen weeks each.
- The students shall be required to take a minimum of three units and a maximum of six course units in a semester.
- Each course unit shall be taught for sixty (60) contact hours of lectures and tutorials.
